You are just not ordinary, make yourself extraordinary

        Working while a student taught me how to effectively manage my time. I can't exactly say that I can complete all of my tasks on time, but I do manage to balance work and studies. Being a full-time student while also working "part-time" in retail has been really challenging for me. I've had to make sacrifices, fight over money, attempt to maintain a social life, and find time for my family.

        I can still remember vividly that I nearly failed a course when I arrived late to class due to traffic and was unable to complete an important quiz. The following week, I was also running late for my final exam. I was crying as I entered the room because I knew that my classmates had already finished the test, but the professor was understanding and allowed me to sit for the exam. Despite this, I was crying, frustrated, and exhausted from working for eight hours straight before the exam. As a working student, I am aware that money is earned through the labor-intensive job, so I study diligently to be able to pay for expenses with the information I gain. I also came to the realization that kids who work will not waste their money since they are aware of how difficult it was to get it.

        Being a working student has improved my productivity and practicality in all aspects of my life. I will be stronger in my future professional choices because of this. I study diligently because, as a working student, I am conscious that income from my labor-intensive job is contingent upon my ability to use the knowledge I acquire to pay for expenses. I also came to the conclusion that since working kids are aware of how difficult it was to earn their money, they won't waste it. You simply need to pay attention and ask yourself why you are doing this and what your objective is. Small sacrifices result in victory.
